Suzanne went on a work trip for the police dept she worked for to deliver body armor and go to a conference. She did not feel good all weekend and she decided to come home. She was very sick. Could hardly breath or walk. Oxygen levels were in the 60’s and 70’s. I was scared she would die at home. Not knowing any better I took her to the hospital. At first she seemed to be improving but then she was put in ICU and deteriorated quickly.

The oxygen mask and whole situation brought on anxiety which made her condition worse. Nobody was able to see her. For weeks we were not allowed to visit with her in any meaningful way. Occasionally we were let in by nice caring nurses (against protocol) for a few fleeting moments. Not seeing her went on for weeks. I was on the edge of getting an attorney and they finally allow myself and her daughter in to see her.

They put her on a vent in the middle of the night without asking me or telling me. I found out the next day when I visited the hospital. When asking about ivermectin everyone kinda said that would not work. When I asked about super dose’s of Vit. C – D and Zinc. They said “that would be like throwing a drop of water in the ocean and would have no effect.” I was feeling like they thought I was a fool for suggesting it.

Her entire family had hoped she would come home from this terrible ordeal. But one day out of the blue while chatting with the Doctor (she has several- all traveling doctors and nurses) they said she had less than a 5% chance of making it. The family and myself decided to take her off life support after 30 plus days of ICU and being told she had zero chance of recovery. She is greatly missed by her family (5 kids), her friends (her hobby was crafting and she was big in that community), and her work family in law enforcement.
