“"As soon as he was put on vent, palliative care started coming in and bothering us. We even said we do not want palliative care. They continued to come in and started suggesting that we do a DNR to protect his good heart as they were wanting to harvest when this was all done. Again, we kept telling them we do not want palliative care. They continued. Every every day, somebody would come in acting all caring and trying to push for a DNR. Later several weeks later, a doc different doctors would walk in and say, he sure is a tough old guy. Meaning, what was taking so long for him to die?... Because Scott and White is a teaching hospital, They were experimenting and just trying to make excellent insurance, and I don't know what else to add.”

“"And turned out it was like an inflatable raft that you put in your swimming pool to play with, and that's what they put under the patients. And he was developing, pressure sores. ... I took photographs of them all to send to my brother because I couldn't believe it. They they had them on, fentanyl and ketamine and propofol and all these, you know, that I knew were super super, addictive... how do you expect a patient to fight an illness if you have put them in a coma and they're completely unable to... improve his own condition in any way.”

He wasn't it wasn't medically necessary, so I knew he wasn't as sick as they were making him out to be by introducing palliative care. And I I told him, you know, they haven't tried everything. They're not doing everything they can. I I want to try ivermectin. You told the doctor literally told me we've done everything we can. It's up to God and Kyle's body. So for me, why wouldn't you try ivermectin? If you're telling me you've done everything you can, why won't you try it?”

“"I would really hate for it to be true that the hospitals received what has been called blood money for my mother's death... It's a kind of a a incentive pay. If somebody dies and they're not on palliative care, they don't get this, this, incentive or it's kind of a what you'd call, like, a promotional things. Yeah. Yeah. And so... it's a horrifying fine thought to think there is a bounty on my mother's head, and that just adds to the layer of the complex trauma.”

I mean, they literally jumped on him. One was on top of him, and two were on the sides. No. I'd never, never said that. I never signed anything. I never ever wanted a DNR. [...] And after my son and I talked, that's what we said. I mean, that was their opinion that he was not going to get better. He was in a tremendous amount of pain, and comfort care was our only choice. And so that's what we ended up having to do.”
