Medical Treatment & Hospitalization

I am still waiting on the medical records. They refused them at first. I am not sure on dates of ventilation or other meds. They allowed him to lay in his own feces for days. He got sepsis due to a dirty port. The refused trache or transfer. On the day that his life support was turned off, they removed everything without allowing family to be present. His skin was torn from the mask.

Witness Testimony

On Saturday, he was tired, but still did yard work. Sunday evening, he was completely drained. On Tuesday, he went to urgent care. They didn’t test him for Covid but told him he had the flu. On Thursday, he was struggling to take a deep breath, so I called urgent care. They said to to take him to the ER. COVID-19.

They immediately admitted him to ICU. Within days, they did not allow him to move, then not getting water, then no food…fearful of choking due to???

From cannula, to mask, to intubation. Then it was pulmonary embolism to sepsis then to MRSA …. I requested the trache and the dr refused. I requested a transfer and the dr refused. Some of it is still a foggy whirl of nightmare memories.

“"He refused for me to be able to come in... after twenty one days, I was able to go in, and I was able to by that time, they had already intubated, and they put him onto life support... the final doctor who I refer to as doctor Depp... He wouldn't give me any hope. He wouldn't let us transfer him to another hospital... that doctor took him off a full code and put him on the DNR without any... letting me know without approval.”
